Our production sites are state-of-the-art and are continually optimised so that the technology can always be updated accordingly. In 2011, we were able to further improve efficiency by installing an additional methanol recovery plant.
We place great value on saving resources and reducing emissions wherever possible throughout our entire value creation chain. Thus tanks – and indeed the entire plant – are heated by biomass in the form of wood chips.
